Deepcool Launches AK620 Dual-Tower CPU Air Cooler

Deepcool has launched a new CPU cooler called the AK620. This dual-tower cooling solution is designed for use with Intel’s upcoming 9th generation Coffee Lake processors, and features an innovative 120mm x 120mm copper heatpipes layout.

The AK620 is a new premium CPU air cooler from Deepcool. It’s a dual-tower cooler with six copper heat pipes and a copper foundation. Heat dissipation is rated at 260 watts, which is 20 watts less than the 280 watts required to cool an AMD Ryzen Threadripper processor. However, it should be appropriate for a wide range of other high-performance systems.

The airflow is rated at 68.99 CFM, and the two 120-mm PWM fans have a maximum noise level of 28 dBA @ 1,850 RPM. It has a 50,000-hour operating lifetime. It works with AMD (AM4/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2/FM2+/FM2/FM1) and Intel (LGA 2066/2011-v3/2011/1200/1151/1150/1155) sockets. The cooler comes with all of the required installation tools and components. A bracket for the LGA 1700 socket will be available soon. The cost has yet to be determined.
