In the upcoming update, builders will no longer be able to send resources back and forth between their camps. This new punishment is being implemented to cut down on gold spamming. Builder’s have been banned before in game for this reason, so it seems logical that they would do something similar with this updated system. Builders are going to hate this!
The “madden 22 franchise update” is a new punishment that will be implemented in the upcoming update. The punishment will show your camp on the map so other players can see where you are at all times.
I was always on a tight budget while I was playing Fallout 76. I wanted to do something unique, so I redesigned and optimized a lot of things to free up space.
My ferret passed away over a year ago. I felt heartbroken and depressed. I chose to travel to F76 in order to make something and clear my mind. To complete my “outdoor sink,” I fantasized of hanging a mirror from the tree. I just had a few decorations left before my camp money ran out, and the mirror refused to attach to the tree. I put a sign on it to make it seem like a mirror basement, but it didn’t work and the sign was entirely stuck. I nuked my camp, attempted to fit inside the tree, danced around it from every angle, but I couldn’t get rid of this symbol. There was no mirror, no funding for any decorations, and just an unsightly sign protruding from the tree. I’d had enough of it, so I began looking for a means to construct more freely, considering that I’d seen suspicious camps with a lot more stuff you could possibly put in there previously. I’ve heard about how you may construct your camp over budget once and then not be able to build anything else unless you destroy everything over the budget; it’s like a one-time upgrade. So I made a monument for my ferret, and then I came up with plans to complete and enhance a variety of projects. My camp has grown into something magnificent, just as I had hoped. But now it was going to be the end…
As you are presumably aware, there will be severe consequences for anybody who exceeds the camp budget in the future update. There are still a lot of bugs, glitches, cheats, legacy weaponry, scummers, scarcely honest modifications, and so on in the game, but who am I to evaluate how issues are solved and prioritized? Especially if I knew it would happen sooner or later. The choice is simple: make it hard for anybody with an excessive expenditure to play. You’ll be unable to quick travel, participate in daily objectives, events, interact with things (including doors), swap camps, change and store objects, or gather resources until you clear your overbudget. At first glance, it seems to be reasonable, given that it is still a bug that might enable you to farm resources with hundreds of water stations and others, as well as potentially increase server burden. But, do you know what the most amusing thing is? People who utilize the bug for limitless water or anything similar would still be OK since you can’t harvest just crops if other resources from “containers” end up in your inventory. As a result, someone with a second character might construct near the train station and sell water, whereas others who just wished to produce would be compelled to demolish their work or quit the game. I’ve never exploited it to get an edge, but whomever did will go unpunished when I’m forced to quit my favorite game.
Of course, this does not excuse me or other “just builders,” but it does make me sad because we would face a punishment that is both more severe and comes much sooner than some literal cheaters (for example, they could use legacy weapons to say things like “You can’t fast travel or do other things while there are incompatible legendary effects on items in your inventory/stash,” and I don’t need to explain how dangerous such items can be). I’d be willing to buy some extra camp budget or go into eternal exile to the private server (which still costs money) in total solitude (yet my favorite part of the game is emote-calling whoever teleported into my camp to check the market and then showing them everything I’ve built and receiving many heart and thumbs up emotes as feedback), but there are no such options. I’m not ready to destroy my inventions since it would harm me physically. But, at the end of the day, I’d want to show you what I’ve done so far — my most likely final constructions.
All of this beauty is possible with a 50% increase in the camp budget, but it’s unlikely that any of the devs will read this and even more unlikely that they will add such an improvement one day, despite the fact that they have been asked about it so many times already, so I won’t ask about it. However, I do want to ask them to fix the bug where you can still collect resources from an overbuilt camp, and also please leave me at least the ability to open the doors so I can occasionally enter.

Sorry for the lengthy article, but I feel as if I have nothing left and that someone is about to steal everything from me, so I felt compelled to say something. What are your thoughts on everything? I’m hoping you’ll like my camp. I also have some really cool things in my vault, though it isn’t completely finished (I didn’t go over budget there, but there is a bug that cuts like 25% of my maximum budget for no reason, as well as a few other bugs), but I could show it off in the future before the update (I’m not sure if I’ll be able to enter it after the update).
