LEGO is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Transformers with a new line of building sets, featuring robots and figures from all generations. The most impressive among them happens to be Optimus Prime himself!

One of the primary selling aspects of this rendition of the original 1984 Optimus Prime, which has over 1,500 LEGO pieces, is its 19 points of articulation, which enables the toy to be changed between the character’s robot and vehicle modes, which stand 35 cm and 15 cm tall, respectively. The completely transforming Transformers Optimus Prime from the LEGO Group and Hasbro will be available for $169.99 starting June 1 on LEGO.com/optimus and in LEGO shops worldwide.

The “g1 optimus prime” is a fully converting LEGO set that comes with over 1,500 pieces. It also includes an exclusive buildable figure of Optimus Prime.
