This is a question about the game. The Order tree has been a major point of contention for players and developers alike due to its lack of depth, but recent updates have shown promising signs that it will be getting better soon.
The “Order and discipline or faith and spiritual strength frostpunk” is a question that has been asked. The order tree needs to be reworked in Frostpunk because it is not balanced properly.
So, I was attempting to develop my city in the infinite extreme mode again, and I thought I’d share the law trees for both possibilities with you.
So, get your act together. Let’s take a look at the rules of order and why I believe they need to be tweaked.
- Neighbourhood Watch is a program that allows residents to keep an eye on their neighbors. Good beginning law, but not as good as places of worship. Let’s ignore the part where you have to man your watchtowers, but what about your beginning skill? Ceremon may be found at houses of prayer, and it provides you a tiny burst of optimism, which once rescued me from a hopeless situation. There are none on watchtowers. Why don’t you call it Night Duty? “Our watchman (later on guards) will be on duty in the evening and at night on the streets to prevent crimes and make our residents feel safer.” Each usage reduces dissatisfaction by a little amount. Each usage raises hope a smidgeon. 2 days of cooling down It’s a good beginning ability since it strengthens the faith’s ceremon, but the fact that you have to man your watchtowers renders it ineffective.
- Gathering in the morning. Although it is not the ideal legislation, the perpetual hope bonus is acceptable.
- Foreman. The finest legislation in the game should not be altered, if anything, it should be nerfed.
- Guard posts are quite acceptable.
- The patrol is in good shape.
- It’s OK to have a propaganda center.
- Agitators are quite OK.
Now, my dear friends, is when things are about to go very awful.
- Forced Persuasion and Prisons I’m going to combine these two rules since it’s a poor idea to utilize jails without utilizing force. So, let’s get this party started. To begin, I’d like to point you that you may construct many prisons. I imagine many people overlook this since you can normally only construct one “special” structure at a time. Prisons, however, are an exception. You are free to construct as much as you wish. And in each of them, roundups may be used to apprehend some “dissenters.” This is where I’d want to put an end to it. So, first and foremost, the jail roundup is ineffective. I mean, really. It imprisons ten of your random inhabitants for four days or until you beat them up, but for no apparent reason, it decrase dissatisfaction SO BADLY. Worse than being on patrol! I’m not sure why that is, but it is true. Now, let’s return to our various jails. Yes, you can construct them. Consider the following scenario: I construct three prisons and utilize roundup in each of them. I am able to capture 30 individuals. What would a normal, reasonable individual think? Yes, each jail houses ten prisoners. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO One of them has 30 people in it, while the other two are completely vacant. WHY? No one is aware. Let’s go back to our obnoxious. Of course you want to support these individuals in their efforts to dig coal on their own two feet, right? It’s great that you have your loyal guards beating up on your detainees! You make use of your abilities and what you see? Ten of them were freed, but the other twenty were not. Are you aware of your responsibilities? Turn off this jail with 20 inmates; they’ll move to the second prison, where you’ll use Forseful; turn it off; the remaining 10 will travel to the third prison, where they’ll be beaten. This is an EXTREMELY DISGUSTING SYSTEM. I’m not sure how I’m going to make it work. I believe the whole prison system has to be overhauled.
- A pledge of allegiance. It’s pointless. Ability that is completely useless. Yes, it provides a significant hope boost. But, if you can sign New Order in 1d 12h, why do you need that hope bonus? Take the faith path! As the last law, there are Defenders of the Truth who actually reduce a quarter of your dissatisfaction! And that’s wonderful since you’re about to sing New Faith and destroy your hope! There’s also the pointless vow. ADDITIONALLY! In faith, you have Righteous Denunciation, which is a delicious occurrence that may occasionally alleviate dissatisfaction or provide you with a limited supply of sustenance. Pledge is essentially the same except for the order route, but it has no effect.
- It’s lovely in New Oder.
Well, thank you for reading this far! I’d like to point out that I don’t speak English very well, so if you discover any errors, please let me know so I can fix them. Most importantly, explain the laws you believe should be altered, as well as how and why you believe they should be changed.
