The Sims 4 has a lot of new features to explore, including the ability to text and call your friends. Here are some poses that will make you look like you’re texting or talking on the phone.
The sims 4 text messages mod is a new pose pack for the Sims 4. It includes over 100 poses and animations to make your Sims more expressive.
The Sims 4 does, after all, have smartphones.
Do they, however, have the appropriate postures to go with them?
For this list, I recommend becoming acquainted with inabadromance’s Accessory iPhone. I believe they were the only Sims 4 CC developer to provide Left and Right versions of a phone accessory, which is why the majority (if not all) of the creators mentioned here utilized their phone accessory for their texting poses.
When it comes to choose which version to use, all of the authors do an excellent job of stating it in their descriptions.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, here are some fantastic messaging posture packs for The Sims 4 that photograph well.
1. Katverse’s Kids With Their Phone Poses
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
Isn’t it true that today’s kids are all over the place?
To be honest, I believe we’ve all come to terms with the fact that cellphones are now a need. As a result, having them isn’t as shocking for children.
Why should the children of your Sims be any different?
Katverse’s pose pack does an excellent job at depicting something we presumably encounter on a daily basis: a child snapping selfies, a kid browsing on their phone, a kid perhaps playing a mobile game… you get the idea.
The quality is excellent, the idea is simple, and I like the fact that this pack is geared at children.
I mean, there’s already a dearth of canon and fan material for young Sims (since a lot of us tend to play Adults and Young Adults). As a result, I think that posture sets like these are ideal for people who like healthy family-oriented gaming.
2. Sims I Missed Hearing Your Voice Pose Pack _plyreality
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
This title, I believe, says volumes (get it?) on its own.
This is a rather large posture pack that wonderfully captures that awkward moment when you know you shouldn’t contact your ex, but you just can’t stop yourself.
We’ve all been there, done that, taken the picture, purchased the t-shirt, and so on.
The postures themselves are of excellent quality, and I believe the story is very unique.
There are a few posture sets that include the whole “poor phone call discussion” concept.
But this one jumps out because it wonderfully depicts both sides of the debate.
Their expressions are really sad.
3. I’m texting you! Pandora’s Box
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
I’m messaging you, not just texting you!!!
The triple exclamation is most likely intended to convey a high level of enthusiasm.
Which, considering the similarity of the nine postures, makes a lot of sense.
This is a series of very conventional postures that follow a clear idea and are nicely executed. It’s essentially a Sim tapping away on their phone in various postures, all of which are differing degrees of comfy (there are some positions I agree with and some I think I could never pull off).
Because the postures don’t follow a particular narrative or subject, they’re all adaptable, and the face expressions are all attractive enough to mask any underlying drama.
As a result, you may utilize them in virtually any situation.
4. Moonshinersims’ Running Errands on the Phone Pose Pack
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
These are without a doubt some of the most realistic Sims 4 phone postures I’ve seen.
Because consider yourself impressed if you can do errands without checking your phone at least once. I’m sorry, but I’m unable to do so.
I’m double-checking my conversations and social media feeds even in the grocery store.
But that’s enough of it.
Moonshinersims has created some stunning postures.
Great placements, clean lines, and no clipping (at least with Female Sim models; I didn’t have a chance to try it with Male Sim models).
I really like how calm and casual the expressions are.
5. okruee’s Bathtub Poses
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
What, you’ve never taken your phone into the tub before?
To be honest, it was the first thing that drew my interest.
I mean, I’d become used to seeing “texting on the bed” and “calling from the sofa” themes, but an honest-to-EA bathtub position took me off surprise.
And to have a full-fledged discussion in there? It’s very cool.
So, the author is also one of my fave CC hair designers.
In any case, this collection includes five distinct postures, each with four different face expressions: neutral, concerned, furious, and joyful.
That’s really amazing, since it effectively increases the number of position possibilities from five to twenty.
We Simmers, on the other hand, like having a range of options.
6. Serenitatem postures’ Show Me Your Phone Posepack
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
So far, the majority of the posture packs I’ve discussed have all been generic, flexible, basic phone-using stances that can be used in virtually any story or scenario.
The postures in this set were created with a narrative in mind, according to the designer.
They’re supposed to depict the moment when you receive a strange text and decide to toss your phone in the garbage, according to the description.
Perhaps “strange” isn’t the proper term, but whatever. If security is really a concern, phones are literal homing beacons for the proper type of hacker – and I’d throw my phone away right now if it meant remaining secure. I can see how this specific situation might arise.
You may even avoid using the phone-throwing postures entirely.
In any case, there are seven postures, and the first four or five are excellent for more general “hey, look out this thing on my phone” situations.
7. Ratboysims’ Phone Call Poses
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
We’re back with the flexible, ambiguous postures that may literally work in any situation.
But I’m not complaining. In-game phone talking animations are very minimal.
For whatever reason, they’re all doing some version of standing and gesticulating furiously.
I suppose it’s because Sims aren’t very calm in general. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Ratboysims’ postures are the pinnacle of relaxation. These postures give me the impression of a peaceful, leisurely day spent happily talking on the phone with a friend or significant other, and I’m sure it’s a story that many Simmers could use.
Three postures are designed for loveseats and three are designed for sofas.
8. ratboysims’ Text Poses
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
This is the texting version of ratboysims’ Phone Call Poses pack, and I have to commend a Sims CC developer who goes to such lengths.
There are six postures in this collection, much like the Phone Call pack, all of which include phones and seats (actually an armchair from the looks of the preview photos, but I got these to work on a loveseat, too).
The pack’s author also suggests a different name for it: “Broken Spine Poses.”
You can probably understand why if you look at positions three and four.
The general mood of this pack is extremely calm and nice, much like Phone Call.
There will be no drama here, sir. Simply some unobtrusive phone scrolling.
9. Lorie’s Sims 4 Poses’ Chatting on the Phone Pose Pack
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
This is by far one of the most comprehensive phone pose collections I’ve ever across.
And I went through quite a few of them. I mean, thirty-five stances isn’t exactly a slam dunk, is it?
And the designer was thoughtful enough to provide all-in-one animation choices to speed up the action.
This is a fairly typical texting pose set, as you can see from the sample images, with many fixed postures and a lot of expression variations.
There are nine standing positions, eight table-leaning stances (which work with dining tables but make more sense with desks), nine sitting poses with hands concealed, and nine sitting poses with hands over the desk.
I like how the ambiguity of the postures and emotions adds to the versatility of this set.
Stay at Home Sim’s A Bad Phone Call (Story + Pose)
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
Here are three narrative postures that may be used in almost any “emergency phone call” situation.
For example, a doctor may be summoned since his patient’s symptoms are diminishing. Or a guy is startled awake because his closest buddy has been in an accident.
Alternatively, a father may get a slightly worrisome phone call from his intoxicated kid requesting to be picked up.
Stay at Home Sim created a scenario in which Sim A (the man on the phone) received a call from his mother telling him that his father had passed away (or, in Sims 4 parlance, “expired”).
Because the emotions are obviously ones of fear and distress, they aren’t the kinds of postures you’d employ for just any late-night phone call.
But what about the correct story? They’re ideal.
11. Akuiyumi’s Car Phone Poses
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
(A gentle reminder to drive carefully and to utilize your phone’s hands-free mode whenever possible.) Thanks!)
I couldn’t locate any other posture packs with a comparable idea (driving while on the phone), therefore Akuiyumi deserves credit for being creative.
I believe moments like this are quite common in slice-of-life, semi-dramatic stories, therefore I have no doubt that someone will utilize it.
I appreciate how the Sim model’s head and facial expressions do most of the talking since the rest of them can’t move.
It reflects the high quality and attention to detail in these postures, so kudos.
In the pack, there are 10 distinct postures for a total of ten different emotions: anxious, puzzled, joyful, being shouted at… You see what I mean.
By the way, all of the poses are clearly labeled on the in-game list, so you won’t have to go through each one to locate the one you want.
12. sciophobis’ [SP] Pose Request #66
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
When you can’t be bothered to press the phone to your ear and would rather shout into the receiver, you know what I’m talking about.
That’s right, there’s a pack for that.
The emotions of the postures transfer to something very snarky in-game, which isn’t apparent in the preview pictures of the Sim models.
Maybe it’s because of how I created my Sims, but these postures make them seem like they’re issuing instructions from a poolside lounge chair or something.
Whether or not that’s your vibe, I believe these eight sciophobis stances are essential phone positions to have in your modifications folder for those “just in case” occasions.
The sims 4 mods are pose packs that allow you to customize your Sims with new poses, including texting and phone. All of the poses in this pack are free.
