In order to get a better understanding of the characters that could beat Whitebeard, we have created a list. Check out our top picks and let us know if you agree or disagree.
One Piece is a popular manga and anime series. In the series, there are many strong characters that could beat Whitebeard. Here are our top picks for the strongest character in One Piece.
Who in the world is logical enough to grow a mustache and call it a full-fledged beard?
It’s Edward Newgate, friggin’ Newgate, frickin’ Newgate, frickin’ Newgate, frickin
Even the mention of his name conjures up images of incredible achievements that would make everyone in the One Piece world tremble with dread or amazement.
After all, he wasn’t dubbed “The World’s Strongest Man” for nothing.
But, on that topic, which anime characters have a chance against this ruthless old man? Here are some of our ideas for contestants who may emerge winners.
Gol D. Roger, No. 15
One Piece is a popular anime series.
This should be self-evident.
After all, Gol D. Roger was regarded as one of the few humans capable of matching Whitebeard’s strength and might.
By that logic, The King of Pirates would have a good chance of defeating Whitebeard if they battled in their primes.
On the other hand, it may also be reversed.
Although we don’t know much about Roger’s complete skills, I’d argue that the strength of his surviving crew (such as Rayleigh) speaks for itself.
14. All Powerful
My Hero Academia is an anime series based on the manga My Hero Academia.
It’s clear that All Might (at least in his “hero form”) and Edward are both gigantic beings with muscles on top of muscles.
And, frankly, I believe a straight-up brawl between these two would be entertaining. Who would emerge victorious?
In the instance of All Might, I feel his total strength, endurance, and, more importantly, speed are sufficient for him to dance with Whitebeard and prevail — even in his prime.
Of course, if he’s well and undamaged, his prospects improve dramatically.
Overall, if these two were fighting in their primes, I’d award All Might 6 out of 10 bouts. If not, it’s a toss-up between the two.
Netero is number thirteen.
Hunter X Hunter is a Japanese anime series.
Who says Whitebeard is the only oldie who can be both badass and kickass?
Netero, on the other hand, could have something to say about it.
He’s the former head of the Hunter Association and the guy who, in theory, killed the world’s most powerful beast.
In addition, unlike Whitebeard, who has become much weaker since his glory days, he has kept and increased his powers in old age.
While Netero’s durability wasn’t quite as excellent as Edward’s, his continuous growth over many years of mountain training had made his fists as quick as lightning.
He gains a much-needed speed edge thanks to this overwhelming ability.
And in a combat where the first to attack typically wins, speed may be all he needs.
Juvia Lockser (nineteen)
Fairy Tail is a Japanese animated television series.
Juvia Lockser is the first magic-user on our list, and she can take advantage of one of Whitebeard’s few flaws.
Edward, as powerful as he is on land, is unable to swim due to his usage of Devil Fruit.
As a result, he’s a poor matchup for characters that can manipulate water.
Juvia is one of the finest water magicians in her series, capable of commanding vast volumes of water – sometimes even from nothing.
If she’s serious straight away, it’ll probably just take her a few seconds to completely immobilize Whitebeard by saturating him with water.
11. Dio
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a Japanese anime series.
Dio is another muscle-bound guy that could, but probably shouldn’t, fight toe-to-toe with Whitebeard.
Despite his swift regeneration and good durability, I believe Dio’s best course of action here is to just pause time before approaching the adversary.
After that, let’s just assume we’ll be hearing a lot more punching sound effects from Dio, as well as a lot more “Muda Muda!”
I believe Dio and his stand have this in the bag if he doesn’t spend any time running his mouth before really making a move (which he does a lot).
Kisame Hoshigaki is number ten on the list.
Naruto is a Japanese anime series.
When it comes to water-based ninjutsu, Kisame is one spiky-haired shinobi I’d put my trust in.
The person has a shark-like appearance.
By the way, I still haven’t found a “canon” explanation for it.
He may be called a master of the Water Prison Jutsu, in addition to understanding some fire, wind, and earth techniques.
This is essentially his go-to water-type containment method — and it would work well against Whitebeard, who would lose his abilities while within the jail.
If Kisame succeeds in using this (or any other large-scale water tactics) first, the only question is whether or not he can overcome Whitebeard’s emperor’s haki.
If that’s the case, he’ll undoubtedly win.
9. Louisenbairn Baraggan
Bleach is a Japanese anime series.
Another of Whitebeard’s flaws, as I’m sure most of you already know, is that he, like the rest of us, is susceptible to aging.
Even in anime, Father Time is generally unbeatable.
In some ways, one might argue that Baraggan is Father Time himself.
He is not only powerful, swift, and practically impervious, but he can also easily eliminate foes by hastening their physical decline.
In Whitebeard’s situation, I don’t believe Barragan needs to speed up his aging any more if he’s fighting in his old, normal form.
Accelerator No. 8
A Certain Magical Index in Anime
Whitebeard’s full-powered world-breaking punch might be the determining factor here.
And by that, I mean that if he does it, he’ll pummel himself into a bloody and devastating defeat.
While I have no doubts about Whitebeard’s toughness under regular conditions, a battle with Accelerator is everything but usual.
After all, there’s not much anybody can do if your opponent can just stand there and return everything you’ve given him without lifting a finger.
In the end, a comparably overwhelming damage reflector like Accelerator is simply a horrible matchup against most physical juggernauts like Whitebeard.
Tier 7: Harribel
Bleach is a Japanese anime series.
Tier Harribel is our second Bleach character, and another opponent Whitebeard would struggle against due to his water vulnerability.
Tier, despite being an Arrancar, is the most sensible of the Espadas, with the exception of Nel Tu.
After surviving the fight with the Soul Reapers, she has also become Hueco Mundo’s queen (Jon Snow offers his greetings).
She’s just as powerful as Barragan. She is, nonetheless, more clever and calculated.
That’s why, unlike him, she survived.
Furthermore, I’m sure she’d perform better versus Whitebeard since she doesn’t have to battle in close quarters.
This is due to the fact that most of her sword skills, including her Cascada, can be employed from a distance.
Koro-Sensei, no. 6
Assassination Classroom (anime)
There are few anime characters that can match our favorite tentacled instructor when it comes to sheer toughness.
Before he died at Marineford, Whitebeard sustained a total of 465 injuries. Koro-Sensei, on the other hand, would have performed considerably better in that circumstance.
Simply told, Koro-Sensei is almost hard to kill, in addition to being very quick and responsive.
For Whitebeard, this is a tremendously challenging matchup.
Koro-Sensei may also transform into slime to evade Whitebeard’s assaults, thereby neutralizing most, if not all, of Whitebeard’s blunt force injuries.
Tatsumaki, No. 5
One Punch Man is a Japanese anime series.
Despite the fact that Whitebeard has some ranged attack choices, they are quite restricted and highly situational (like the tidal wave on Marineford).
Tatsumaki, one of anime’s most powerful telekinetics, is one character who can take advantage of Whitebeard’s lack of variety and range.
I doubt Whitebeard will be able to accomplish anything against her as long as she stays her distance.
There’s no lack of ways for Tatsumaki to win this fight, from tossing Whitebeard into the sea to blasting him into space.
4. Novachrono, Julius
Black Clover is a Japanese anime series.
Julius is one of anime’s finest time manipulators.
He possesses the ability to slow down, reverse, and even accelerate the passage of time.
All of these powers just serve to highlight how messed up his character is.
He can even take people’s time and utilize it for anything he wants.
Though, as Wizard King, I don’t expect him to use this specific talent very frequently.
This brings us back to Whitebeard’s susceptibility to aging, since he already has a limited amount of time.
Julius may not need to take advantage of this specific “weakness” in order to win the war. He’s already a little too powerful.
Momonga is number three.
Overlord is a Japanese anime series.
Momonga, the list’s second skeleton, is an undead monster that poses a greater danger to Whitebeard than Barragan.
He’s been demonstrated to have the same skill as Whitebeard when it comes to cleaning out large groups of opponents (or fodder, as the case may be) in a short amount of time.
And, of course, his expertise isn’t limited to his devastating AOE assaults.
In a one-on-one combat, he can overcome opponents more physically stronger than himself, as he demonstrated in his encounter with Shalltear.
I doubt Whitebeard, unlike Shalltear, has any resurrection spells that can rescue him from Momonga’s sure-death hax talents.
Sailor Mercury is number two.
Sailor Moon is a Japanese anime series.
In Japanese, her name approximately translates to “Water Star.” And I believe we can all see where this battle is going from there.
Sailor Mercury is one of the most powerful fighters in the universe in her series.
And, although she isn’t the most powerful, her mastery of water is more than enough to defeat Whitebeard.
So much so that I can’t see any variation of this contest in which Whitebeard wins.
Folks, these are magical girls. You must never underestimate them.
1. Roshi, Master
Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese animated television series.
I realize this is a contentious choice, but let’s be honest…
Is that true?
When Saiyans and gods are tearing up the whole globe everytime they fight, it’s easy to ignore human figures like Roshi. Roshi, on the other hand, is a formidable opponent.
Roshi is exceptionally swift and powerful, particularly given his age.
Even more than the vast majority of the characters on this list.
For comparison, Whitebeard was said to have the ability to destroy the planet, yet Roshi went ahead and destroyed the moon with a Kamehameha.
While Krillin is Dragon Ball’s “Strongest Human,” I feel the elderly guy is already a formidable opponent for Whitebeard.
The “who is stronger whitebeard or kaido” is a question that has been asked before. In this article, we will be going over some of the anime characters that could beat Whitebeard. Our top picks are Luffy and Doflamingo.
