Anuchard is a game that offers exciting, challenging and thrilling experiences for everyone. The point of the game is to earn as much money without being caught by bounty hunters or police officers in order to get paid your share. Bounty hunting has never been this fun!
“Anuchard” is a game that has been released recently. It is an action-adventure platformer with puzzles and hidden secrets. The walkthrough for “Anuchard” can be found at the link below.
StellarNull may not be well-known in the indie gaming community just yet, but with their latest release, Anuchard, it wouldn’t be unexpected to see them break through. Anuchard is a dungeon crawling role-playing game that takes you into unknown regions in order to rescue the souls of those who have wandered in before you. What can Anuchard do to differentiate itself from the rest? It’s a rather simple notion that has been used in innumerable games in the past.
I could have saved someone, but this giant chicken hugged me.
Sure, that start makes it seem like this is going to be all praise, but let’s start with my greatest beef with Anuchard. I’d want to start with this topic since it’s the first thing you’ll come across. The pointer automatically selects/highlights “start game” rather than “load game” every time you switch on the game. Unfortunately, pressing “start game” creates a new file, so you’ll have to either play through the opening cinematic or restart the game to return to the main menu and choose to load your save. Maybe it’s just that I’m impatient and want to jump into the game right away, but I can’t be the only one who finds this design decision irritating.
To be honest, getting past this barrier without mistakenly entering the home is really difficult.
The characters and artwork are evocative of a SNES game, and the sound effects and music are appropriate for the time period. It’s fascinating to watch the figures take on the appearance of dolls, with no faces but plenty of expression. While not every character speaks, such as the protagonist, there are conversation bubbles that depict the characters’ sentiments and moods. It’s simple to determine how a faceless and apparently expressionless figure feels, whether it’s a sobbing face, a joyful face, or a question mark.
I have no idea who this man is, but he seems to like doughnuts.
Dungeon crawling is the game’s core feature. Characters have started turning to stone after visiting the dungeons and losing their souls. Your character, the Bellwielder, is the only one who can enter the dungeons, liberate the spirits, and set humans and animals free from their rocky confinement. There aren’t a lot of adversaries in the dungeons, but there are some entertaining, fast, and unique puzzles. A standard strike and a rolling slap that sends foes flying are the two basic attacks. Because opponent shields only shatter when they strike a wall, you’ll need to use the rolling assault to break them. This strike is also the most powerful. It’s quite powerful to be able to stun lock foes and bosses in corners and bounce them against walls.
Just take a breather and take in the scenery.
While the sound effects in Anuchard are fantastic, the music presents an intriguing counterpoint to the game’s real content. During a game that effectively opens with “my husband and child are dead because they entered the dungeon,” the soundtrack is quiet, soothing, and inspiring. You’d think the music would be a little darker, yet with all that’s going on around them, the music and characters seem a lot more upbeat.
The fact that the aforementioned spouse is part of the plot to rescue made me laugh (perhaps because of my dark sense of humour). On the other hand, having a kid is not a condition. Overall, this game was really simple to understand and play. The riddles are intriguing and will stimulate your thinking. They’re also not big riddles; they’re usually short yet satisfying. Anuchard is a fast-paced and enjoyable game. Anyone who likes dungeon crawling indie games like Boyfriend Dungeon or even Hades will appreciate this. However, just about anybody could get into it quite quickly.
Anuchard has a distinct artistic flair. Characters are emotive despite their appearance as straw dolls. Enemies may be identified from the backdrop, and locations differ in appearance. |
While Anuchard is a solid dungeon crawler, fighting is rather straightforward. The puzzles, on the other hand, seem original and intuitive. |
Anuchard’s music is fantastic, as are the character sound effects. However, the contrast is incorrect; although it sounds happy, nothing surrounding it suggests that it is a happy moment. |
Anuchard is a lot of fun all around. It accomplishes its goals with ease, although it does not create new ground in its genre. |
Final Score: 7.5 |
